Travis Hinkle never fails to amaze us. He’s only been with us for six months, but he’s already made a very strong impression with the Treadsack group.
In his first three months, Travis developed a 12-week wine education course while revitalizing the beverage menu at Down House. In addition to building new beverage programs for our future restaurants, Hinkle is tackling a Down House Fall menu and ongoing beverage pairings to compliment the Kipper Club dinners–all while studying for the Master Sommeliers Diploma Exam. We’re exhausted just thinking about it!
We’re very proud to see that Wine Enthusiast crowned him one of the 40 Under 40: America’s Tastemakers of 2014. Here’s to many more glasses of Barolo, Mr. Hinkle. You deserve it.
